 At home phlebotomy is a great option for patients who have mobility challenges, who have compromised immune systems and wish to avoid exposure at a clinic or lab, or who simply prefer the convenience and comfort of being serviced at home.

Live Life Labs charges 55.95 per draw/visit. This includes your blood draw, processing, transport, and shipping + handling. The patient is responsible for any additional lab fees, which will be billed separately by the lab organization.

Processing the specimens, including the centrifuging, aliquoting, and freezing for the required testing. We then ship or transport the sample to the requesting laboratory. 

 Unfortunately No. The service fee for your mobile lab appointment is separate from the lab coverage provided by your insurance. 

Unfortunately No, The fee you pay Live LIfe Labs only includes the specimen collection. You will still be responsible for your regular fees charged by your lab (e.g., Quest, Labcorp, etc). 

Some tests may require a patient to fast. For example, fasting test orders require the patient to refrain from eating or drinking for 8-12 hours. You may drink water or black coffee (no cream or sugar) if you are fasting. We work to schedule our patients that are required to fast earlier in the morning so you will not have to fast throughout the day.

Most laboratories have an app where you can create a patient portal that will allow you to view your results. If not, your physician will go over your results at your scheduled appointment. 

Lab results typically take 24-72hrs. Specialty tests can take up to several days.
